Bandit attack in Katuru village, Zamfara leaves two injured, two women abducted

Armed bandits attacked Katuru village in Shinkafi Local Government Area of Zamfara State on May 25, 2025, at about 0100 hours.
Zagazola learnt that the attackers shot and injured two persons and abducted two women, taking them to an unknown location.
Army troops visited the scene, and the injured victims were promptly taken to General Hospital Shinkafi for treatment.
Efforts to rescue the abducted women are ongoing
