Bandit Infighting Claims Over 40 Lives in Zamfara, Brother of Ado Allero Reportedly Killed

A violent internal clash among rival factions of armed bandits in the eastern Mada axis of Zamfara State has reportedly left more than 40 fighters dead, including a younger brother of notorious bandit kingpin Ado Allero, identified as “Senator”.
Security sources and local accounts said the deadly confrontation occurred amid escalating tensions within the armed groups operating in the area, although the exact circumstances that triggered the infighting remain unclear.
Among those reportedly killed was Senator, said to be a younger brother of Ado Allero, one of the notorious bandit leaders operating in the North-West.
The reported death of Senator, if confirmed, could represent a significant development within the network associated with the bandit kingpin, particularly if it deepens existing divisions among armed groups operating across Zamfara and neighbouring states.
Preliminary accounts indicated that the confrontation involved armed elements from within the bandit networks, with casualties reportedly exceeding 40 fighters.
Zagazola report that the disputes over territorial control, disagreements over leadership and competition for resources have contributed to tensions among criminal groups operating in parts of the North-West.
Further updates will follow as more credible information becomes available.
