Bandits kill farmer in Zamfara village attack

A 35-year-old farmer, Dangude Kwakwaci, has been killed by suspected armed bandits in Kwakwaci village, Dansadau District of Maru Local Government Area, Zamfara State.
The incident in a statement issued on Wednesday, saying the victim was attacked on July 23 while working on his farm located on the outskirts of the village.
Zagazola Makama learnt that the bandits stormed the farmland and fatally shot the victim before fleeing the scene.
Security forces visited the location for on-the-spot assessment, and the victim’s remains have since been buried according to Islamic rites.
