Domestic staff dies suddenly at American International School principal’s residence in Durumi

A domestic staff member has died suddenly at the residence of the Principal of the American International School, Durumi, Abuja. 

 

Sources told Zagazola Makama that Mercy Pan, a cook from New Karu, Nasarawa State, resumed duty at about 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, September 6. 

 

She was later discovered collapsed, convulsing, and unconscious by the principal’s wife. The victim was rushed to Garki General Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

 

Police said photographs of the scene and the body were taken. The family of the deceased declined an autopsy, stating they did not suspect foul play, and requested the release of the corpse for conveyance to her hometown in Kwai area, Kaduna State. 

 

Sources said that the police have lunched an Investigation.
