Five Injured in Herders-Farmers Clash in Kano

The Police Command in Kano State says five people sustained injuries during a clash between herders and farmers in Ungogo Local Government Area.

 

Zagazola learnt that incident occurred at about 2 p.m. on Aug. 8 in Sabon Gida Minchika village.

 

He said the victims Abubakar Muhammad, Nasiru Miko, Umar Usman, Umar Sale, and Anas Usman, all from the same village, sustained serious injuries in the fracas.

 

According to him, the victims were taken to the Ungogo Primary Health Care Centre, where they were treated and discharged.

 

He said relevant stakeholders from both sides had been invited to forestall escalation, adding that normalcy had been restored and the area remained calm.
