Gunmen abduct farmer, kill son in Kaduna village attack

Unknown assailants in the early hours of Tuesday invaded a remote settlement on the outskirts of Doka Maijama’a Village in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State, abducting a 60-year-old man and killing his son during the attack.

 

Sources told the Zagazola Makama that the incident occurred around 2:00 a.m. on July 2 when the attackers, armed with cutlasses and other dangerous weapons, stormed the residence of Malam Isiya Abdullahi and abducted him to an unknown destination.

 

His 25-year-old son, Suleiman Isiya, was reportedly stabbed multiple times while trying to resist the attack. 

 

He sustained fatal injuries and was later confirmed dead at a nearby hospital.

 

The Nigerian troops in collaboration with other security outfits, to locate and rescue the abducted victim.
