Gunmen Attack Katul Allah Magani Village, One Killed, Several Kidnapped

Tragedy struck in Katul Allah Magani Village, located within the Ikulu Chiefdom of Zangon Kataf Local Government Area, Kaduna State, on April 13, 2025, when a group of armed gunmen stormed the village around 9:30 p.m., shooting sporadically and abducting several residents.

 

Intelligence sources told Zagazola Maksma that, Ibrahim Abubakar, a 45-year-old male from the village, was shot in the chest during the attack. 

 

Despite being rushed to the Primary Health Care Center in Kamuru, he was confirmed dead by medical personnel.

 

Security forces immediately mobilized a patrol team to the scene, but by then, the assailants had fled with an unspecified number of people.

 

Authorities, in collaboration with local vigilante groups, have intensified efforts to rescue the kidnapped victims, and investigations are ongoing. 

 

The victim’s body has been released to the family for burial in accordance with Islamic rites, as per their request.
