Gunmen Kill Six Children Grazing Cattle in Kogi Forest

Suspected gunmen have killed six children in Ogbe Forest, Kogi State, while they were grazing their cattle, the Kogi State Police Command has confirmed.
Intelligence sources told Zagazola Makama that the attack occurred on March 9, 2025, at about 7:00 PM.
The victims, whose names are yet to be released, were reportedly tending to their cattle when unknown assailants stormed the camp and opened fire, killing them all.
“Their relatives of the victims reported the incident to the police on March 11, 2025. Police operatives visited the scene and took photographs of the decomposed corpses, while a preliminary investigation has commenced,”said the sources.
