MNJTF airstrikes kills top ISWAP Commander, scores of terrorists in Lake Chad

The Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF), airstrikes have eliminated, Abubakar Dan-Buduma, a top ranking Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) Commander and 19 others fighters in the Nigeria's Northeast of LakeChad, Zagazola Learnt.
Abubakar Dan-Buduma, was the ISWAP's Chief Naval Officer Commanding the waterways of Kirta, Bakkassi, Buningil and Doron Buhari, in Marte Local Government Area of Borno state. He was appointed on 10 January 2022, after he replaced Muhammed Ba'ana.
It was gathered that Dan-Buduma along with some of his Lutenants were eliminated in a coordinated intelligence-led ground and aerial combined offensive conducted on April 3, by the Nigeriene Air Task Force, under Operation Hadin Kai and Multi National Joint Task Force (MNJTF) in Kwalaram village in Marte Local Government area of Borno state.
An Intelligence Sources told Zagazola Makama that other fighters were killed in a similar Airstrikes targeting a concealed ISWAP vehicles located in the West of Arege and Bukar Mairam.
The top Military sources said that some of the hideouts which served as a meetings points for Islamic State of West Africa Province (ISWAP) elements in the Island settlements were destroyed in the air bombardments.
He said that the success was achieved under the ongoing Operation Lake Sanity and Desert Sanity Phase 2, after credible Intelligence indicated that the top ISWAP Commander and several other fighters had converged in the area preparing to launch an attack in the nearest military base.
