MNJTF troops killed 2 ISWAP terrorists as one soldier injured while repelling attack in Amchide

Atleast two ISWAP terrorists were killed after the troops of the Multi National Joint Task Force repelled an attack in Amchide (cameroon side of Banki) on the night of June 12, 2023. 

 

It was gathered that the dozens of the terrorists made an attempt to infiltrate a position of the troops, but they were repelled after a gun battle that lasted for about one hour.

 

Zagazola Makama, A Counter Insurgency Expert and Security Analyst in the Lake Chad Region gathered that two terrorists were killed while one other soldier was injured during the encounter.
