Plans by Boko Haram terrorists to attack CJTF in Bama uncovered

The Jamā'at Ahl as-Sunnah lid-Da'wah wa'l-Jihād, Boko Haram terrorists have concluded plans to attack the government backed members of the  Civilian Joint Task Force in the North East of  Bama, Borno state,Zagazola Learnt.

 

It was gathered that Boko Haram  leadership under one Abu Ikilima, in Gazuwa camp in Bama, has tasked some spies to monitor the movement of CJTF members into Sambisa Forest, especially possible routes such as Bararam, Goniri, Ngurusoye among others. 

 

An Intelligent Officer told Zagazola Makama, a Counter Insurgency Expert and Security Analysts in the Lake Chad that the aim is possibly to attack the CJTF members as revenge to several recently neutralized terrorists foot soldiers and Commanders  by  troops of 21 Armoured Brigade Bama.

 

On 15 June, the troops of Operation Hadin Kai and the civilian joint task force killed 47 insurgents in Gazuwa and rescued morethan 400 women and children.

Also on June 13, the troops reportedly destroyed over 700 makeshift houses and shelters of the insurgents and recovered several motorcycles and weapons from them.
