Three Feared Killed in Rival Cult Clash in Kogi

Three suspected cult members were killed following a violent clash between rival cult groups in Ofu Local Government Area.
Security sources told Zagazola Makama that troops of 21 Battalion responded at about 5:30 p.m. on July 4 to reports of a suspected cult-related clash in Ejule community.
According to the sources, preliminary findings indicated that three suspected cult members were abducted during the clash, while their bodies were later discovered along the Ochadamu–Umomi road.
The troops restored normalcy to the affected area and have intensified security patrols to prevent further outbreaks of cult-related violence.
Security agencies said efforts are ongoing to investigate the incident and identify those responsible for the killings.
