Troops arrest suspected boko haram informant in borno

Troops of Operation Hadin Kai have arrested a suspected Boko Haram informant in Kaga Local Government Area of Borno state.
Security sources said the arrest followed actionable human intelligence on the activities of suspected collaborators aiding terrorist operations in the area.
According to the sources, troops of 29 Task Force Brigade, in collaboration with members of the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF), apprehended the suspect identified as Bulama Modu at Shauri village, Mainok axis, at about 9:10 a.m. on March 26.
Items recovered from the suspect include one Tecno mobile phone, some charms, and a sum of ₦5,700.
The suspect and recovered items are currently in custody for further investigation, while security agencies intensify efforts to dismantle informant networks supporting insurgent activities in the North-East.
