Troops Arrest Suspected Terrorist Logistics Supplier in Niger State

Troops of 22 Brigade under Operation SAVANNAH SHIELD have arrested a suspected terrorist logistics supplier in Borgu Local Government Area of Niger State.
Security sources reliably informed that the suspect was arrested at about 5:30 p.m. on April 27 along the Dekara axis during a patrol conducted by troops at Forward Operating Base Babanna.
The sources said items recovered from the suspect include three jerrycans of red oil, two bags of beans, one carton of electrodes and the sum of ₦243,000.
Preliminary investigations, according to the sources, indicate that the suspect is allegedly involved in moving logistics supplies from Babanna to Dekara village for suspected terrorist elements.
They added that the suspect is currently in military custody and undergoing further interrogation for possible prosecution.
