Troops arrest two suspected criminals in Plateau
Troops of Sector 1, Sub-Sector 12, Operation Enduring Peace (OPEP), in conjunction with Keystone and members of the Vigilante Group of Nigeria (VGN) from Bauchi State, have arrested two suspected criminals during a joint raid operation in Jos East Local Government Area of Plateau State.
The operation was conducted at about 1:10 a.m. on Sept. 6, 2026, following a report on the activities of suspected criminal elements allegedly travelling from Bauchi State to Plateau State for criminal activities.
The troops raided identified criminal hideouts at Maijuju Village in Jos East LGA and arrested two suspects identified as 26-year-old Abubakar Adamu and 24-year-old Umar Musa.
The suspects were subsequently handed over to Keystone, Bauchi State, for further investigation and necessary action.
