Troops of the Nigerian Army have arrested suspected terrorist logistics suppliers and recovered two new motorcycles at a checkpoint near Zuma Rock in Suleja Local Government Area of Niger State.

The suspects were apprehended at about 1:10 p.m. on Oct. 26, 2026, by troops of 102 Guards Battalion following intelligence about the movement of suspected logistics suppliers conveying two new motorcycles allegedly intended for terrorists in Kaduna State.

Acting on the information, the troops mobilised to the Zuma Rock checkpoint, where they intercepted the suspects and recovered the two motorcycles.

The suspects and recovered motorcycles were subsequently handed over to the Nigeria Police Force for further investigation and necessary action.

The arrest forms part of ongoing security efforts to disrupt the supply chains supporting terrorist groups and prevent the movement of logistics and equipment to criminal networks operating in the region.
