Troops Kill 6 Terrorists, Rescue 33 Captives In Sambisa

Troops of Operation Hadin Kai Theater Command, in continuation of their decisive offensive aimed at clearing Sambisa Forest of terrorists remnants, have killed six terrorists and rescued 33 persons from terrorists captivity.

 

The rescued captives comprised one male adult, three female adults and 29 children. 

 

Intelligence sources told Zagazola Makama that the combined troops of 21 Armored Brigade  and Special Forces, assisted by Hybrid Force/CJTF, unleashing the offensive under the Operation Desert Sanity III, achieved the spectacular victory on May 29, 2024 when they invaded the Boko Haram/ISWAP enclaves of Parisu and Aulari in the Forest. 

 

Contact was made with the terrorists which resulted in heavy gun battle. The troops overwhelmed the terrorists and nutrialised them instantly while others escaped with bullet wounds.

 

The troops also recovered sundry weapons used by the fleeing terrorists, including AK 47 rifle.
