Troops neutralise terrorist, recover rifle in yobe ambush

Nigerian army troops of Operation HADIN kai have neutralised a Boko Haram/ISWAP fighter during an ambush operation in Yobe State.
Zagazola report that the operation was conducted on Sept. 29 by troops of 27 Task Force Brigade, supported by vigilantes and Hybrid Forces, around Mahdiya village along the Buni Yadi road.
One AK-47 rifle was recovered from the neutralised terrorist.
The military said the operation was part of ongoing efforts to deny insurgents freedom of movement in the North East.
