Troops Rescue Two Kidnap Victims in Kaduna, Launch Manhunt for Abductors

Troops of Operation Enduring Peace (OPEP) have rescued two kidnap victims following a search-and-rescue operation in Sanga Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
A military source said the troops of Sector 7, Sub-Sector 71, deployed in Sanga, responded to reports of sporadic gunshots along a highway near Kwagri village at about 3:00 a.m. on June 15.
Upon arrival, the troops discovered that three persons had been abducted by suspected kidnappers.
The source said the troops immediately launched a search-and-rescue operation in nearby bushes to track the kidnappers and secure the release of the victims.
According to the source, two of the abducted persons were successfully rescued during the operation.
Efforts are ongoing to rescue the remaining victim and apprehend the kidnappers responsible for the attack.
The source added that troops have intensified patrols and combing operations in the area to prevent further criminal activities and ensure the safety of residents.
