*6 BRIGADE TROOPS APPREHEND 3 TERRORIST COLLABORATORS IN TARABA STATE*

Troops of 6 Brigade Nigerian Army/Sector 3 Operation Whirl Stroke (OPWS) have successfully apprehended three individuals suspected to be collaborating with terrorist elements in Taraba State. The operation, carried out with precision and intelligence, took place on 15 October 2024 at Landey Jessy village of Lau LGA.

Acting on intelligence reports of some Bandits presence in Kona range of mountains which cut across Jalingo and Lau LGAs, troops of 6 Brigade conducted operations around the general area which led to the arrest of 3 Suspected collaborators named Ahijo Sulaiman, Abdulrahman Isah and Aisha Mohammed. During the investigation, Aisha Mohammed who is married to Ahijo Sulaiman confessed that Ahijo's residence is used for hiding their weapons after operations. Abdulrahman on the other hand was identified by a victim he attempted to kidnap in Iware of Ardo-Kola LGA sometimes in September 2024.

The arrested suspects are currently in own custody undergoing further investigation.
