Accident Involving Police Personnel on Transit in Yobe State

A bus transporting 12 personnel from the 34 Police Mobile Force (PMF) and 5 personnel from the 36 PMF was involved in an accident on the Maiduguri road near the NNPC Filling Station in Damaturu on Tuesday at around 2:30 PM. 

 

The police personnel were en route to Maiduguri when the accident occurred.

 

The injured officers were promptly rushed to the University Teaching Hospital, Damaturu, where they are currently receiving medical attention. Authorities have confirmed that they are responding well to treatment.

 

The incident is under investigation, and the situation is being closely monitored.
