Again ISWAP kills 25 metal scavengers in Borno

Armed members of Islamic State of the West African Province(ISWAP), group have attacked scrab metals scavengers otherwise known as "Yan Ajakuta" and killed 25 of them in the North East of Dikwa Local Government Area of Borno state.
It was gathered that the persons were killed in Mukdala village located about 10 kilometers north to Dikwa town on Wednesday.
An Intelligence sources told Zagazola Makama, a Counter Insurgency Expert and Security Analyst in the Lake, that the victims were gunned down by insurgents who rode on six motorcycles, each carrying three persons with heavy arms.
Takno Ibrahim, a Civilian Joint Task Force Member, told Zagazola that about 25 bodies of the slain victims were recovered, noting that they were shots multiple times by the terrorists.
Ibrahim said that some of the victims escaped with bullet wounds noting that they were evacuated to the general hospital in Dikwa town by the military in conjunction with the Civilian Joint Task Force.
Meanwhile, A video obtained by Zagazola shows bodies of the 25 victims that were shots at closed range.
In one of the videos, of the surviver was heard saying, "they came in motorcycles and surrounded us, before they started shooting at us.
"When they shot me, I pretended I was dead. But I survived.
Another eye witness who chose to be anonymous said he was in the farm, when he heard the sounds of motorcycles from a distance.
He said he quickly hide in the grasses before he started hearing firing from a distance.
He said "It was later that I discovered that they killed alot of people,"he said.
