Armed bandits kill three vigilantes near Kaduna airport

Armed bandits have killed three members of a local vigilante group in an attack near the Kaduna International Airport general area.
The incident, which occurred on Wednesday evening, threw the community into panic as residents reported sporadic gunshots.
Sources said the vigilantes were on routine patrol when they were ambushed by the gunmen, who opened fire, killing all three on the spot.
The assailants reportedly fled into the surrounding bush before reinforcements could arrive.
