Army holds sensitization lecture on responsible social media use in Kaduna

The Nigerian Army has commenced a two-day sensitization lecture on social media usage for troops within the Area of Responsibility of 1 Division.
A military source said the programme, organised by the Nigerian Army Cyber Warfare Command (NACWC), began on March 24 at the Gen. T.A. Lagbaja Hall in Ribadu Cantonment, Kaduna State.
The source said the lecture was designed to enhance troops’ understanding of the role and significance of social media in contemporary military operations.
According to him, it also focused on promoting responsible use of social media, particularly in relation to operational security and the protection of sensitive information.
He added that the event featured interactive sessions and group discussions aimed at improving awareness among participants.
The source described the programme as successful and hitch-free.
