Bandits Launch Attack on Dayau Village in Zamfara

Armed bandits are reportedly attacking Dayau village in Kaura Namoda Local Government Area of Zamfara State.
Residents of the village have raised an alarm, stating that the attackers are unleashing terror, with initial reports indicating casualties and widespread destruction.
Eyewitnesses say the assailants are burning shops and looting food supplies as the attack continues.
Dayau village has experienced previous incidents of banditry, but the scale and intensity of the current attack have left residents in shock and scampering for safety in the bushes.
Security forces have been deployed to confront the terrorists.
