The Jamā'at Ahl as-Sunnah lid-Da'wah wa'l-Jihād terrorists (otherwise known as Boko Haram) have reportedly killed 10 locals in the enclave of ISWAP insurgents in Kainuwa near Gashigar, Borno State.
It was gathered that the suspected Boko Haram elements on seven motorcycles, each conveying three armed fighters, attacked the location within the Nigeria-Niger Border.
The locals in the area are said to cooperate mostly with the ISWAP terrorists staying in the locality.
The Boko Haram group eliminated the 10 locals during the attack and captured one guntruck and six motorcycles belonging to ISWAP while others fled.
They further burnt several makeshift houses in the village before departing.
