Burkina: Dozens of terrorists neutralized
Ouagadougou: Several terrorists have been neutralized, in the vicinity of Kossouka (Yatenga, North), Taparko (Namentenga, North Central) and Mangodara (Comoé, West) while Weapons, motorcycles and other materials were recovered from the terrorists.
Many of the terrorists who attacked the village of Kossouka (Yatenga) on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, causing the loss of four VDP and two civilians, met their Waterloo in the military Operations.
According to security sources, more than a hundred motorbikes in column of more than 2km were caught in the evening of the same day towards Vato village, while vehicles and combat vehicles were destroyed.
The raiding carried out by the SDF and VDP on the ground resulted in the recovery of weapons, 24 motorcycles, radio stations, laptops, gas bottles and other materials.
Near Taparko (Namentenga, North Central), terrorists who had erected a road checkpoint on Thursday, March 30, 2023, have been neutralised.
Fighting conducted by the units on the ground neutralized the remaining terrorists. Fighting Forces dismantled a terrorist base in Mangodara in Waterfalls region. Several assailants were neutralized. Food, guns and motorcycles were seized.
According to our sources, the Fighting Forces will continue their recapture and security missions throughout the territory and the terrorists will have to put down or die.
