COAS welfare flight moves 350 personnel in and out of North-East theatre

The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) welfare flight has transported a total of 350 personnel into and out of the North-East theatre of operations.

Security sources told Zagazola Makama that the first welfare flight for September 2026 was conducted on Sept. 3 using a chartered ValueJet aircraft.

According to the sources, 174 personnel were transported into the Operation Hadin Kai theatre, while 176 personnel were moved out of the theatre.

The latest movement brings the cumulative number of personnel transported into and out of the theatre through the COAS welfare flight initiative to 35,165.

The movement was conducted successfully without any incident.
