FCT Police Arrest 54 Suspects in Coordinated Raids

The FCT Police Command has arrested 54 suspects during coordinated raids across the territory.

 

Zagazola reports that the operation, carried out on Aug. 9, 2025, at about 11:40 p.m., involved operatives from Nyanya, Jikwoyi, Kurudu, Kubwa, Gwagwa, Bwari, Wuse, Wuye, Life Camp, Utako, Apo, Karmo and Zuba Divisions.

 

Sources disclosed that the raids targeted black spots, criminal hideouts, and uncompleted buildings within the respective areas of responsibility.

 

The sources said the Police recovered quantities of dried leaves suspected to be Indian hemp, along with other illicit drugs.

 

The suspects are currently undergoing screening and interrogation at the various divisions, and those found culpable will be charged to court.
