FG Confirms 32 People Aboard Military Aircraft That Crashed in Ondo

The Federal Government has confirmed that 32 people, 25 passengers and seven crew members were onboard a military aircraft that crashed near the Naval Base in Igbokoda, Ondo State, on Monday.
Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, disclosed the figure on X following the crash of the aircraft, which was en route from Benin to Lagos.
The aircraft, with tail number NGR 931, reportedly disappeared from radio contact at about 9:13 a.m. before information later confirmed that it had crashed in the Igbokoda area.
The wreckage has been located, while search and rescue operations are ongoing.
