Flood: Borno Stakeholders, National Assembly Members Donate N552m to Support Victims
Stakeholders from Borno State, alongside members of the National Assembly representing various constituencies of the state, have donated N552 million to support victims of the recent devastating floods that have affected numerous communities across the Maiduguri Metropolis and its environs.
The floods, triggered by heavy rains over several weeks and overflow from Alu Dam, have wreaked havoc in many areas, displacing thousands and destroying homes, farmland, and essential infrastructure.
The donation was announced in Maiduguri on Saturday in a joint release by the APC Deputy National Chairman (North), Dr Ali Bukar Dalori.

The State Governor, Babagana Umara Zulum, expressed his gratitude to the donors and called for further support from other stakeholders, including private sector players and international organisations.
