Fulani bandits Kill One, Injure Another in Plateau Community Attack

Fulani bandits gunmen have killed one person and injured another in an attack on Kwagas Village in Panyam District of Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State.
Security sources said the attack occurred in the early hours of Friday when armed assailants invaded the community and opened fire on residents.
Troops of Sector 8, Operation Safe Haven (OPSH), were mobilised to the area following a distress report of the attack.
On arrival, the troops discovered the body of a resident, identified as Shalom Jacobs, who had been shot dead by the attackers.
Another resident, identified as Kotfan Sale, sustained injuries during the attack and was immediately evacuated by the troops to Panyam Hospital for medical treatment.
The gunmen reportedly fled the scene before the arrival of security personnel.
Security forces have launched a manhunt for the perpetrators, while efforts are ongoing to track and apprehend those responsible for the attack.
