GEN LAGBAJA REWARDS POSTED OUT SENIOR OFFICERS FOR THEIR HARD WORK AND DEDICATION

The General Officer Commanding (GOC) 1 Division Nigerian Army and Force Commander Operation Whirl Punch Maj Gen TA Lagbaja has organized a biffing send-off ceremony for posted out senior officers of 1 Division Nigerian Army and Operation Whirl Punch on 12 January 2023.

The GOC while giving his remarks, applauded the posted out senior officers for their tireless efforts, dedication and support to the Division which he said has helped in the successes so far recorded by the Division. He further stated that the inputs/impact of the posted out senior officers cannot be over emphasized and expressed hard feelings as he bid them farewell.

He then advised the posted-in senior officers to liaise with their predessessors to keep them abreast with their tasks and responsibilities.

The outgoing senior officers are Brig Gen UV Unachuckwu,Brig Gen MS Adamu,Brig Gen MU Ikobah,Brig Gen NA Mohammed,Brig Gen AD Aliyu,Brig Gen OO Ejere,Col J Michael,Lt Col UA Mohammed,Lt Col BA Inuwa,Lt Col IC Okenna,Lt Col BA Mshelbwala,Lt Col MM Sani,Lt Col AC Uba,Maj AI Otuvie and Maj S Komo.

In his vote of thanks on behalf of his colleagues, the most senior of the posted out officers and Commander 1 Division Finance and Account Brig Gen MS Adamu appreciated the Chief of Army and their respective Corps Commanders for the privilege to serve in the premier Division of the NA. He specifically appreciated GOC 1 Division for his mentorship, guidance and good leadership as he wished the Division successes in all its operations.
