GOC Dangana visits Sector 4 OPEP, inspects new soldiers’ accommodation in Plateau

The General Officer Commanding (GOC) 3 Division and Commander, Operation Enduring Peace (OPEP), Major General William M. Dangana, has visited Headquarters Sector 4 OPEP in Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State.
Security sources told Zagazola Makama that the GOC arrived at the Sector Headquarters at about 10:13 a.m. on Oct. 7, 2026, where he was received by the Sector Commander, Col. V.O. Asuquo.
During the visit, the Sector Commander briefed the GOC on the prevailing security situation and ongoing operations within the area of responsibility.
Maj. Gen. Dangana thereafter inspected a newly constructed four-room accommodation facility for soldiers at the Sector Headquarters.
The GOC commended the Sector Commander for the initiative and efforts towards improving the welfare and living conditions of personnel.
