Nigerian Army Troops Thwarts Boko Haram Assault in Malam Fatori, Recovers Unexploded Bombs
Earlier this afternoon, the resilience of the Nigerian Army was put to the test as Boko Haram militants attempted to infiltrate the military camp at Malam Fatori. The soldiers remained vigilant and swiftly responded with a barrage of heavy firepower, forcing the terrorists to retreat. Notably, during the engagement, six unexploded bombs were discovered as the terrorists abandoned and fled into the bush.
This night, the insurgents made yet another daring attempt to assail the troops' stronghold. However, the determined troops mounted a formidable defense, successfully repelling the attack and driving the terrorists back.
This pattern of repeated assaults on the military positions by Boko Haram is not uncommon. It is customary for these terrorists to persist in their efforts over the coming hours and days.
