Gunmen abduct two persons in Bauchi community

Suspected kidnappers have abducted two persons in Jamari Village, Alkaleri Local Government Area of Bauchi State.
Sources told Zagazola on Monday in Bauchi that the incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday, Aug. 31.
The sources said the gunmen invaded the village at about 1:30 a.m. and whisked away two residents.
The victims were identified as Abdullahi Jauro Buba, aged 40, and Maikudi Mohammed, aged 35, both male residents of Jamari Village.
According to the sources policd, local hunters and vigilantes immediately mobilised to the area to track down the abductors.
“Efforts are being intensified, in collaboration with community members, to rescue the victims and ensure the perpetrators are brought to justice,” said sources.
