ISWAP Kills 1 CJTF, injured 4 others and burnt 4 patrol vehicles in Borno

Atleast one Government backed militia otherwise known as Civilian Joint Task(CJTF) killed while four others injured in a midnight raid by the Islamic State of the West African Province(ISWAP), in Banishaik , a village in Kaga local government of Borno State.
Benisheikh is located about 72 km and 44.8 miles to the restive Maiduguri capital. 
It was gathered that the terrorists sneaked into the town on motorcycles at about 3:30 am, before engaging the security men in a heavy gun battle. 
An Intelligence Officer told Zagazola Makama, a Counter Insurgency Expert and Security Analyst in the Lake Chad that the terrorists over powered the security men, killing one of them amd set four patrol vehicles ablaze. 
The sources said that the terrorists retreated and took to their heels on sighting a reinforcement team of the Nigerian Army.
Zagazola had earlier raised  alarm that the terrorists had planned to carry out many attacks on soft targets  across the country between September and Oct. 2022.
The terrorists had already claimed attacks in Delta, Kogi and Kano within the past few days.
