Nigeria, Niger Joint Military Operation Neutralizes several fleeing Boko Haram in Borno

The Air Force Component of Operation Hadin Kai in collaboration with the Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF) Sector 4 Niger Republic, in a decisive operation, neutralized scores of fleeing Boko Haram terrorists in Arege in Abadam LGA,in Borno State.
The terrorists were chased from Niger Republic after attacking a military unit ONAHA Lada in the Province of Diffa, and injuring four SDFS.
Intelligence sources told Zagazola Makama, that the raid followed confirmatory Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) missions which established that a large numbers of the fleeing terrorists were crossing into Nigeria from Niger republic.
The attack aircraft dispatched by the ATF to engage the location recorded accurate hits within the target area, resulting in the obliteration of several insurgents.
There was no love lost between Nigeria and Niger republic as this was the fourth time the country was coordinating a joint Operation to neutralized Boko Haram/ISWAP terrorists harboring within shores of the Lake Chad basin.
