Nigerian Army Kills 2 Boko Haram in Borno

The Nigerian Army r troops of Operation Desert Sanity have reportedly killed two Boko Haram (BH) and Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) terrorists in Borno State,"Zagazola Learnt.
It was gathered that the terrorists were killed after they came in contact with the troops of 195 Battalion in conjunction with the Civilian Joint Task Force during a fighting patrol at Munzulum general area, 48KM from Khaddamari, in Jere Local Government area of Borno State.
An Intelligence Officer told Zagazola Makama that the patrol team also cleared Malis, Gidde, Ladin Mbuta, Alkidau, Fuye and Dumge villages which were suspecting to be habouring some terrorists.
"At Munzulum general area, the troops came in contact with terrorists Mounted on 3 Motor cycles with 2 fighters each, the troops defeated them superior fire power which forced them to withdraw to their newly established camp, where the two terrorists were eventually nutrialised and the camp destroyed.
The sources said "No casualty was recorded on own troops noting that Items recovered include: 2 Motor Cycles and 1 mobile phone.
The intelligence Officer said that the Operation was in continuation of ongoing efforts to deny terrorists freedom of action in its area of responsibility under Operation Desert Sanity.
