Police arrest 102 suspects, recover illicit items in raids across Abuja

Police operatives from Bwari, Kubwa, Kabusa, Iddo, and Nyanya Divisions have arrested a total of 102 suspects during raids conducted across various black spots and criminal hotspots within their Areas of Responsibility (AORs) on April 25, 2025.
Sources told Zagazola Makama that the operations resulted in the recovery of cutlasses, dried leaves suspected to be Indian hemp, and illicit drugs. The suspects, who have been profiled, are currently in custody undergoing screening and interrogation.
The sources said those found to be involved in criminal activities will be charged to court, as authorities continue efforts to combat crime and ensure the safety of residents.
