Police arrest 71 suspects during raids on criminal hideouts in FCT

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has arrested 71 suspects during coordinated raids on criminal hideouts and black spots across the territory.
The operations, conducted on Oct. 7 by operatives from the Gwagwalada, Nyanya, Gwagwa, Kubwa, Apo, Utako, Life Camp, Karmo, Jikwoyi, Kurudu, and Asokoro Divisions, targeted uncompleted buildings and other criminal enclaves within their respective areas of responsibility.
Sources said the suspects were currently undergoing screening and interrogation at the various divisions.
The sources added that those found culpable would be charged to court upon completion of investigations.
The sources said the Command reaffirmed its commitment to sustaining regular intelligence-led raids and patrols across the FCT to rid the city of criminal elements and ensure the safety of residents.
