Police arrest three suspects with live ammunition, three sacks of empty shells in kano

The Kano State Police Command has arrested three suspects for unlawful possession of live ammunition and other prohibited items at the Luxurious Park in Mariri Quarters.

 

Sources said that the arrest was made on 20 November 2025 at about 6:30 p.m.

 

The suspects identified as Murtala Muhammed of Tokarawa Quarters, Alawi Shehu Mallanta of Jakara Quarters, and Auwal Alhassan of Kawo Saye Quarters, were apprehended by detectives attached to the Luxurious Park.

 

They were found in possession of 33 pieces of live ammunition and three sacks filled with empty shells.

 

According to the sources, investigation into the case is ongoing.

 

The security sources assured the public of its continued commitment to tackling the circulation of illegal arms across the state.
