Police Recover AK-47 Rifle After Neutralizing Bandit in Kaduna

Security operatives in Kaduna State have recovered an AK-47 rifle with an empty magazine after neutralizing a suspected bandit along the Gwantu-Akwanga road in Sanga Local Government Area.

 

Intelligence sources said that the  Kaduna State Police Command, in collaboration with local vigilantes, made the recovery during a routine patrol near Ancha Village. 

 

The deceased suspect was later identified as Ali Mohammed, 40, of Kiban Village in Sanga LGA.

 

Authorities have handed over the suspect’s remains to the Social Welfare Department in Sanga LGA for burial. 

 

Meanwhile, efforts are ongoing to track and apprehend the remaining fleeing criminals.
