Police recover body of man in Jabi, launch investigation

The FCT Police Command says it has recovered the lifeless body of a man found along Alex Ekwueme Way in Jabi on Sunday.
Sources hat the body, estimated to be that of a 40-year-old man of average build, was discovered at about 8 a.m.
It said the deceased, dressed in a black suit and white shirt, was found lying face up with his legs tied with a necktie and his hands bound with a shoelace.
Detectives observed visible injuries on his head, while no means of identification was found on him.
The sources said photographs were taken and the body was evacuated to the National Hospital, Abuja, where a medical doctor confirmed him dead.
The corpse was deposited at the hospital’s mortuary for autopsy, while investigation into the incident has commenced.
