Police rescue kidnapped victim as gunmen kill one in kagarko, kaduna

Police operatives in Kaduna State have rescued a kidnapped victim and launched a manhunt for suspected armed bandits who abducted several people during an attack on Doguwa village in Kagarko Local Government Area, Kaduna state.
Police sources reliably informed Zagazola Makama that the incident, which occurred on May 7 at about 1:40 p.m., involved a group of armed men who stormed the home of one Suleiman Uyah, shooting sporadically and abducting an unspecified number of villagers.
The security personnel in Kagarko swiftly mobilized a patrol team in collaboration with other security agencies to the scene.
Suleiman Uyah, aged was found critically wounded with a gunshot to the stomach. He was rushed to Kagarko General Hospital but was later confirmed dead by medical personnel. His body was released to his family for burial upon their request.
During a coordinated search and rescue operation, one of the kidnapped victims, Fulani Bello, was rescued unharmed and has since been reunited with his family.
Police sources said efforts have been intensified to track down the perpetrators and rescue the remaining abducted individuals.
