Seven persons abducted, motorcycles carted away in fresh bandits’ attack in Niger

Not less than seven persons were abducted by suspected armed bandits during a renewed attack on Hayin-Gando village in Niger state.
Zagazola Makama confirmed from sources that the incident, which occurred on June 22, was an extension of earlier reported attacks by insurgents and bandits in the area.
The kidnapped victims were identified as Sani Mohammed, Yahaya Sani, Ibrahim Harka, Naraki Habu, Zargali Auwal, Auwal Gandu, and Musbahu Ruwa, all males from Hayin-Gando village.
Five unregistered motorcycles belonging to the victims were also taken away by the attackers during the raid.
The Nigerian Army troops and other joint forces, have been deployed in the area to comb the area and secure the release of the kidnapped persons.
