Six abducted as armed bandits invade Kontagora community in Niger State

Armed bandits suspected to be insurgents have kidnapped six persons, including a mother and her six-month-old baby, during a midnight raid in Usubu Area of Kontagora, Niger State.
Zagazola Makama reports that the attack occurred at about 12:20 a.m. on Saturday.
Security sources said the victims have been identified as Nasiru Muhammed, 30; Abdulrahman Adamu, 25; Abdul Baqi Muhammed, 20; Ubaida Yahaya, 35, along with her infant son, Nazifi Yahaya; and Umaima Nura, 25.
Security operatives visited the scene shortly after the incident and have launched a manhunt to track down the assailants.
