Terrorists kill three vigilantes, injure civilians in Kebbi attacks

Suspected terrorists have killed three vigilante members and injured two civilians in separate attacks in Bagudo and Kalgo Local Government Areas of Kebbi State.
Sources said the first incident occurred at about 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday when armed assailants attacked Kangiwa Village in Bagudo LGA, killing two vigilantes and injuring two civilians with gunshot wounds.
According to the sources, the attackers also set a vigilante outpost ablaze before fleeing the scene.
Troops deployed to the area carried out a pursuit operation along the escape route, but no contact was made with the fleeing suspects.
In a related development, a patrol team discovered the body of another vigilante member who was killed by terrorists at Birnin Kuka Village in Kalgo LGA.
The sources said the situation in the affected areas is being closely monitored, with security operatives maintaining presence to prevent further attacks.
