Three Kidnapped Victims Rescued Unharmed in Ekiti State

Following a kidnapping incident reported on August 1, 2025, involving two drivers and one motor boy at Oko Aso Farm, Ikere Ekiti, police have confirmed the safe rescue of all victims.
On August 8, 2025, at about 07:30 hrs, the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in Ilupeju, Ikere Ekiti Division, reported that the hostages Kunle Aka Orojo, Deji Akinola and Ojo Oluwole were freed unharmed on August 7, 2025, at about 19:05 hrs.
Their release followed intensive bush-combing operations carried out by a joint team comprising the Rapid Response Squad, Anti-Kidnapping Squad, regular patrol teams, and other allied security forces.
The victims have since been reunited with their families, while efforts are ongoing to apprehend the kidnappers.
