Troops Ambush and Neutralize Four Boko Haram Terrorists in Yobe

The troops of Sector 2 in collaboration with hunters and hybrid forces, successfully nutrialised four Boko Haram elements attempting to receive logistical supplies in the general area of Madza and Azare, within Gujba Local Government Area of Yobe State.

 

It was gathered that the troops, acting  on credible intelligence, the combined forces launched a clearance operation and set up an ambush between Azare and Jauro Bishir. 

 

Zagazola Makama learnt that at approximately 9:00 AM, the troops spotted the insurgents and immediately engaged them in a firefight, neutralizing four terrorists.

 

The troops recovered two AK-47 rifles and two empty magazines from the insurgents. In addition, they seized four motorcycle tyres, 11 motorcycle sprockets, 11 chains, and four loaves of bread, believed to be part of the logistical supplies intended for the terrorists.
